VitaHarmony 24 publishes general wellness education for adult readers. This disclaimer applies to every page, article, illustration, newsletter, and advertisement associated with this publication, and forms part of our Terms of Use. Please read it before acting on anything you find here.
This is a magazine, not a clinic. Nothing here is medical advice, nothing here is tailored to you, and nothing here should ever delay or replace a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history.
1. If this is an emergency
Do not use this site in a medical emergency. If you think you or someone else may be having one — including chest pain or pressure, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness, numbness, confusion, trouble speaking or seeing, a serious fall or head injury, uncontrolled bleeding, a severe allergic reaction, or thoughts of harming yourself — call your local emergency number immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call 911; for mental-health crisis support, call or text 988. Do not wait, and do not look for an answer here first.
2. No clinician–patient relationship
Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting us does not create a clinician–patient, physician, therapist, dietitian, trainer, or other professional relationship. We do not practise medicine, nursing, psychology, dietetics, or any other regulated profession through this publication. We cannot examine you, review your records, know your medications, or answer questions about your particular situation, and we will not attempt to do so by email.
3. General information only
Our content is written for a broad adult readership and is necessarily general. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, a prescription, a clinical protocol, or a recommendation for you specifically. It cannot account for your medical history, current diagnoses, medications and interactions, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent surgery or injury, mobility, mental health, age, or any other factor that determines what is actually safe and appropriate for you. Only a professional who can assess you directly can do that.
4. Individual results vary
Nothing on this site is a promise, guarantee, or prediction of any outcome. Two people who follow the same suggestion can experience entirely different results, or none. Any testimonial or personal account reflects one person’s experience and is not representative. We make no claim that any habit, practice, food, routine, product, or approach described here will prevent, treat, cure, or improve any condition.
5. Before you change anything
Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before you begin, change, or stop any exercise, nutrition, sleep, supplement, medication, or self-care practice — and especially if any of the following applies to you:
- You take prescription or over-the-counter medication, or any supplement.
- You manage a chronic condition, including heart, lung, kidney, liver, metabolic, autoimmune, neurological, or mental-health conditions.
- You are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
- You have had a recent illness, surgery, injury, fall, or hospitalisation.
- You experience dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, unexplained pain, or a new or worsening symptom.
- You have a history of an eating disorder, or a change in appetite or weight you did not intend.
- You have concerns about balance, falls, frailty, or mobility.
- You are considering something you read here for someone else in your care.
Stop any activity immediately and seek medical attention if you feel unwell while doing it.
6. Supplements and products
We do not sell, manufacture, prescribe, dispense, or test medicines, supplements, medical devices, or treatments. Where a product is mentioned, advertised, or reached through a link on this site, it is the responsibility of the seller behind it. Dietary supplements and similar products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and statements about them have not been evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration or an equivalent authority in your country. Supplements can interact with medication and are not appropriate for everyone; ask a pharmacist or clinician before taking anything new. See our Advertising Disclosure for how commercial content is labelled.
7. Mental health
Articles touching on stress, rest, mood, or connection are general wellbeing content. They are not therapy, not a clinical assessment, and not a substitute for care from a licensed mental-health professional. If you are struggling, please reach out to a professional or a crisis line in your country. In the United States, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by calling or texting 988.
8. Accuracy and currency
We aim to reflect established public-health guidance and to link to the sources we relied on. Even so, health guidance evolves, sources are updated, and errors are possible. We do not warrant that any article is accurate, complete, or current, and we do not undertake to revise every article whenever guidance changes. Always check the primary source and your own clinician before relying on anything here. Where we learn of a material error, we correct it as described in our Editorial Policy.
9. Third-party sources and links
We link to public-health institutions and other organisations for reference. Those organisations do not endorse, sponsor, review, or have any affiliation with this publication, and we are not responsible for the content or availability of any external site. A link is a pointer, not a warranty.
10. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use this publication and for any decision you make in reliance on it. Any change to your movement, nutrition, sleep, supplement, or self-care routine carries inherent risk, and by using this site you voluntarily assume that risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VitaHarmony 24 and its owners, contributors, and service providers accept no liability for any injury, illness, adverse reaction, aggravation of a condition, delay in seeking care, or other loss alleged to arise from use of, or reliance on, this publication. The limitation of liability, indemnity, and release in our Terms of Use apply in full.
11. Reporting a concern
If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, unsafe, or misleading, please tell us at hello@vitaharmony24.com with the page title and a short explanation. We take these reports seriously and review them promptly.
How to use this publication well
Let an article give you a better question to bring to your next appointment. Let your clinician give you the answer. That order keeps you safe, and it is the one we wrote everything here to support.
